I Like Me

I Like Me is a reading program focused on kindergarten children in local schools. Through volunteers reading to students at least once a week, the Junior League of Peoria is able to provide the children with an avenue to develop increased self-esteem and confidence. Funds from the Community Foundation have been used to purchase personalized books. Currently, we are working with Garfield Primary School on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
