COVID-19 Update

During these difficult times, we at the Junior League of Peoria have made several adjustments to our normal operations.

All meetings of members will be held virtually for the time being. With the cancellation of our Frolic with the Fairies fundraiser in March, we have reached out to ticket holders with more information. (If you are a ticket holder with any questions, please click here for more information.)

Our ongoing programs with the Dream Center, Neighborhood House, and Phoenix Development Services are cancelled through May 30th. With so much need in the community at this time, we are continuing to evaluate where our membership can be the most effective. So far, we have been able to continue our community outreach efforts through meal deliveries to Ronald McDonald House, Dream Center Peoria and Phoenix Development Services, with the help of Brasky’s, the Fox Pub & Café, and Prep, Freeze, Cook.  Click here for details about our community outreach efforts during COVID-19!

As time goes on, we anticipate our partners’ needs will continue to increase. Our financial ability to assist, coupled with limited resources and limits on our mobility has increased our costs when it comes to helping out. Instead of providing ingredients and hands-on cooking classes, we are now providing fully prepared meals. If you are looking to help with these efforts, the easiest and best way at this time is by making a donation to the Junior League of Peoria’s annual fund. You can donate online or send a check to 114 State St., Suite 2A, Peoria, IL 61602.

Despite these unprecedented times, the health and safety of our community continues to be our top priority. We urge all of our members and community partners to take the CDC, WHO, state and local updates seriously and set the example for our neighbors.

Stay safe and well,
The Junior League of Peoria
