Junior League of Peoria is proud to announce it received a Those Who Excel Award of Meritorious from the Illinois State Board of Education, honoring our outstanding contributions to Peoria Public Schools District 150. Amanda Boers Campbell and Andrea Tortora accepted the honor at the banquet this October in Bloomington.
And the 2018-2019 Volunteer of the Year is …….Christina Robinson! Christina has spent countless hours making improvements to the League including launching the first annual Little Black Dress Initiative, upgrading our internal and external website, and revamping our placement process. Congratulations on this well deserved award.
The 2018-2019 Sustainer of the Year award goes to….. Joann Blum! The Harriet Vance Parkhurst Sustainer of the Year Award was created in 1997 to annually recognize and honor a Sustainer for her extraordinary commitment to the Junior League of Peoria and to the community.
