This fundraiser, held annually in November, is Peoria's largest sale of quality new and used merchandise. This fundraiser has provided a community service and financial foundation for the Junior League of Peoria since 1946. The proceeds from the sale go towards funding the League’s projects.

Mark your calendars for Julep's Closet 2010 at the Peoria Riverplex. Doors open on Friday, November 12 from 5pm-8pm for Twice the Price night. Saturday, November 13 from 8am-4pm all items are regular price. On Sunday, November 14, all items are half price from 10am-1:30pm. The bag sale will occur on Sunday, November 14 from 2pm-4pm. Admission is $1 on Friday and Saturday.

Originally called "Thrift Shop", the name was changed in 1973, when changes were made to this fundraiser. ("JULEP" stands for Junior League of Peoria.) This event is held the second weekend of November at the RiverPlex. This event not only raises funds for the League’s community projects, but also fills a need to individuals in the community. Shoppers are able to purchase all kinds of clothes, household items, furniture, shoes, accessories, boutique items, and even bakery goodies at greatly reduced prices.
